FAQ

Common questions about AIELTS, credits, and AI feedback.

What is IELTS?

IELTS stands for International English Language Testing System, which assesses the English proficiency of non-native speakers.

How do I book a mock test?

Go to the Booking screen, enter your details, and select your preferred date.

How does the score converter work?

It converts your raw score (out of 40) from the Listening/Reading tests into a band score between 0 and 9.

How do I access useful resources?

Navigate to the Resources screen from the menu for curated materials, links, and practice tasks.

Where can I find the Privacy Policy?

You can find it in the footer of this site, or visit our Privacy Policy page directly.

Can I use the app offline?

Yes. Most features are available offline, as your data is stored locally on your device.

What are credits?

Credits are used to access AI scoring and feedback features. You can earn credits through practice or purchase them. Each AI feedback request consumes credits based on the task type.

What happens to my credits if I uninstall and reinstall the app?

Credits are primarily stored on your device. If you uninstall and reinstall, your full credit balance may not always be restored. The app may provide a small number of grace credits after reinstall so you can continue using key features and access options like watching ads or buying credits.

How do I restore my purchases?

Go to Support → Credits & Billing → Restore Purchases. This will restore your subscriptions and non-consumable purchases. Note that consumable credit packs cannot be automatically restored after reinstall, but subscriptions and monthly plans will be restored if you're signed in to the same account.

How do I redeem a code?

Go to Support → Credits & Billing → Redeem Code, then paste your code and tap Redeem. Each code can only be used once per device. Codes may have an expiry date, and credits are added immediately after successful redemption.

What's the difference between mini benchmark and full benchmark?

A mini benchmark is a shorter assessment focusing on specific skills, while a full benchmark evaluates all four IELTS skills comprehensively. Full benchmarks provide a complete band score estimate, while mini benchmarks help identify strengths and weaknesses in particular areas.

Why do my scores vary, and how can I improve fastest?

Score variations are normal and reflect your performance on different tasks. To improve fastest, focus on consistent practice, review AI feedback carefully, target your weakest areas identified in benchmarks, and follow the personalized study plan recommendations.

Where is my data stored?

Your essays, recordings, and AI feedback are stored locally on your device. We do not collect personal information. When you request AI scoring, your content is securely transmitted to generate results, but we do not store or sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for details.

The app is stuck loading or scoring. What should I do?

First, check your internet connection. If the issue persists, try closing and reopening the app. For AI scoring delays, ensure you have sufficient credits and a stable connection. If problems continue, contact us via WeChat (xlhyingyu) or email for support.
